[Summer Sale - only 1 cd copy left!] Another fabulous aural pleasure from alias - a luxurious 13 track, 75 minute ride with one of the most creative producers in hip hop today. We all know that alias makes fantastic hip hop beats, but lately we've heard him become more experimental with the sounds he uses and the moods he creates. One could call him "genre breaking" if one wanted to sound like some hipster music critic. All but two of the tracks are instrumental. The vocal songs feature Mark Acher (of The Notwist, on a beautiful drum-heavy pop song) and the pedestrian (of anticon) on a very cool "art-hop" song. Overall, the record is dope. Enough said.
