Insomniac - Polygonal Planet

How long have Bay Area rap fans been waiting for an Insomniac full-length? About 10 years, ever since ATAK sold those super-dope "Don't Sleep" tapes back in the day. Luckily Insomniac hasn't lost a bit of his cunning lyricism - he's got rhymes for days and days and days. Seriously, he gets nuts on this thing. Plus he's put some extraordinary noise makers behind him - producers Raggedy Andy (he's back, too!) and Spex and deejays D-Styles, Mike Boo, Ricci Rucker, Spex and Klingon Ron. If you thought that this couldn't get any better, another classic emcee has been resurrected - Jihad the Roughneck (from Third Sight) absolutely destroys the mic on the track "Natural Selection." This is how the Bay does it. 15 tracks lasting a piping hot 65 minutes.

CD - $12.00  [out of stock]

this album is so seriously sick dude! insomniac is just sicker than ever on this one. the way he combines syllables and word schemes with a range and variety of intricate rhyme styles from track to track is quite impressive. this is a definite must buy!
